After ten years of roofing, siding and framing, Tom was ready to build his first house in 1985. Many of the early homes were one-offs in Orchard Park; on Quaker Lake Terr, Fox Chapel Dr, Jewett Holmwood Rd, e Terr, Fox Chapel Dr, Jewett Holmwood Rd, e Terr, Fox Chapel Dr, Jewett Holmwood Rd, e end of the decade Tom had built nearly forty homes, and Thomas Johnson Homes was firmly established.
1980's

Later on, Tom was able to acquire a number of lots in Braunview and Hillsboro. By the end of the decade Tom had built nearly forty homes, and Thomas Johnson Homes was firmly established.
1990's
The 90's began with more homes in Braunview and Hillsboro. Tom built his personal residence along with multiple model homes in Braunview that helped to drive continued growth. New subdivisons included Lakeridge, Eagle Heights West, and The Summit at Scherff where the scope of the builds began to grow. Tom also purchased land on Freeman Rd in what would become his first development site.
2000's
